Parents of children with July/August birthdays will be given a choice to hold their children back so they are the oldest in the class.

Additional Policies

  • Waiting lists: Operate on a first come, first serve basis when a year group is full.
  • Siblings: Given priority entry. There is a discount on tuition fees for siblings.
  • Differentiation & Setting: Children are in mixed ability classes; differentiation takes place within all classes. Setting in Math, English, and MFL may occur in Year 2 and above.
  • Additional Provision: We welcome children with mild learning difficulties. Parents must inform the school prior to admission.
  • Physical Disability: We endeavour to educate students with physical disability within our facility constraints.
  • Admission Testing: Used to ensure curriculum access, assess needs/strengths, and set targets.
  • Leaving School: The headteacher MUST receive prior notice (one term before) in writing. If not, the respective term’s fees will be charged in FULL.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school has limited provision for children who have no knowledge of the English language. Special oral and written tests may be used to determine the child’s proficiency in English.
